Full Classes & Standby List

Some of our classes are filling up within one day of announcement. The earlier you apply to attend a class the more likely we will have space available.

We will take names for a standby list for any class which is currently full.

Deposit

The deposit required to guarantee a spot in any four day course is $200.

Each class will be confirmed when a minimum number of shooters have returned their applications and paid their deposit.

Payment

You may pay by check, cash or money order. Please make checks payable to our business account: Marksmanship Matters, LLC

Partial Courses

Clients electing to sign up for a partial course (as an example Pistol 1-3 only) will be booked on a stand-by basis only.Preference will be given to those booking the full four day course.

Class Duration

Most classes consist of 8 hours instruction plus a 90 minute lunch break. Class hours are usually 0800 hours to 1730 hours.

Pistol 1

Pistol 1 can be a “standalone” class. You will learn many things about personal security which will benefit you whether you continue with Pistol 2-5 or not.

The only items required for attending “Pistol One” are a note book and a writing implement. Bring No live ammunition to “Pistol One” or “Pistol Two”.

Pistol 1-4

The total tuition for Pistol1-4 is $675.  This is less than 1/2 of what you would expect to pay for instruction of this quality.

You may take one or all four classes at your discretion. Each class is based on the foundation provided by the preceding classes and therefore must be taken in order.

Defensive Pistol 1-4  is the prerequisite for the Advanced Defensive Pistol and Urban Defensive Rifle Courses.

Successful completion of Pistol 1-4 using a semi-automatic pistol (not a revolver) is the prerequisite for attending the Rifle Classes.

Appropriate Pistol & Gear List

If you do not have an appropriate pistol and range gear we will send you an equipment list and a handgun recommendation.
